How to find us:

• Roots is in the Volta Region in a town called Peki. We are about a 2hr drive from Peki and 45 minutes from Ho.

• By Public Transport:

  • From Accra:

  • Take the Accra/Hohoe or Accra/Peki Tro-Tro and ask to drop in Peki at 'ROOTS' ( just past GOVCO junction)

  • From Ho:

  • Take a Tro-Tro heading towards Accra and drop at Asikuma Junction. Then takea Tro or a Taxi to Peki. and ask to drop at "Roots"(Just past the GOVCO junction)
  
  
  • It is also possible to reach us via Kpeve from Ho or Hohoe on a Tro-Tro heading for Accra, ask to drop at 'ROOTS' a small way past the Peki Government Hospital Junction and just before GOVCO junction (GOVernment Training COllege).

• With Your Own Vehicle

  • From Accra:

  • Head out of Accra on the Motorway. At Tema roundabout Take the Last exit Towards Ho.
  • Stay on that road, you will go over the Akosombo Bridge.
  • Again, Stay on that road untill you reach Asikuma Junction. (You pass through a Customs/immigration barrier just before the Junction)
  • Branch Left at Asikuma Junction, heading for Hohoe.
  • Stay on that road untill you reach Peki.
  • Peki is made up of many small townships along this road. We are located in Peki-Avetile,between GOVCO (Government Training College) and the Peki Government Hospital. Look out for 'ROOTS' sign post and turn Right down the Dirt Track.

  • From Ho:

  • Head out of Ho towards Accra.
  • When you reach Asikuma Junction you branch Right, heading for Hohoe. (the junction is just before a Customs/immigration barrier)
  • Stay on that road untill you reach Peki.
  • Peki is made up of many small townships along this road. 'ROOTS' Yard is located in Peki-Avetile between GOVCO Junction (Government training college) and the Peki Government Hospital Junction.
  • There is a 'ROOTS' Sign-Post, on this stretch of road to direct you.
  • From Ho or Hohoe it is also possible to come to us via Kpeve, a bustling town on market days (tues & fri), just stay on the road from Kpeve to Accrayou will pass through Peki. 'ROOTS' is a small way past the Peki Government Hospital Junction and just before GOVCO junction.
  • Look out for the "ROOTS" Sign-Post and turn left down the dirt track.
